Drawdown Raffle
2025 Sycamore Sports Booster Drawdown Rules
Tickets still available in person at our event at Mardi Gras Lanes on Saturday, March 8th. Doors open 6:30 PM.
100 total tickets will be sold at a price of $50 each.
$2,500 of sales will go to the boosters and $2,500 distributed during the event.
Tickets sales end when the last ticket is sold or when the first drawing is held to eliminate tickets at the event on March 8th.
If all 100 tickets are not sold, the prize amounts above may be adjusted proportionally.
During the event tickets will be drawn to be eliminated based on selected bowling rolls by participating board members during the event as follows:
During Bowling Game 1
Pinfall on first ball of 2nd frame by Selected Bowler A
Pinfall on first ball of 4th frame by Selected Bowler B
Total pinfall for 6th frame by Selected Bowler C
Pinfall on first ball of 7th frame by Selected Bowler D
Total pinfall for 8th frame by Selected Bowler E
Pinfall for first ball of 9th frame by Selected Bowler F
Total score (pinfall plus any pinfall from fill balls) in 10th frame by Selected Bowler G
Selected bowlers filling these roles will be determined on site prior to the start of the event.
Buyback during Game 1
Anyone present at the event may reinstate their ticket into the drawing for $20. If a participating bowler rolls a strike during Game 1 and holds an eliminated ticket, they may reinstate their eliminated ticket for $10, but must do so before the next bowler on their lane bowls.
Kingpin - The bowler with the highest score at the end of Game 1 may select any eliminated ticket of their choice to be reinstated to the drawing.
Gobble Gobble Gobble - Any bowler rolling three strikes in a row may select to reinstate any eliminated ticket of their choice or may select to eliminate any ticket still in the drawing.
Just prior to the start of Game 2, we will draw 4 winning tickets for prizes: Three (3) winners will receive $100 each and the 4th ticket drawn will receive a $200 prize. Those tickets will be eliminated and will not be eligible for buyback during Game 2.
During Bowling Game 2
Five (5) tickets will be drawn for elimination anytime a member of the Executive Board rolls a strike until there are only 10 tickets remaining.
Buyback to reinstate a ticket can be done at any time during Game 2 for $25 until there are only 10 tickets remaining. There will NOT be a $10 buyback for rolling a strike during Game 2.
Once there are 10 tickets remaining, all buyback ends and ticket elimination ends until after all bowling is complete.
If we have more than 10 tickets still remaining at the conclusion of bowling, buyback ends and we immediately draw the number of tickets needed to reach the final 10.
The Final 10 Tickets:
If all 10 tickets voted yes to split the pot, each will receive $200 and the raffle ends. Otherwise 5 more tickets are drawn for elimination.
If all 5 remaining tickets voted yes to split the pot, each will receive $400 and the raffle ends. Otherwise 1 more ticket will be eliminated
If all 4 remaining tickets voted yes to split the pot, each will receive $500 and the raffle ends. Otherwise 2 more tickets will be eliminated.
If the remaining 2 tickets voted to split the pot, each will receive $1,000 and the raffle ends. Otherwise 1 more ticket will be eliminated.
The final ticket would claim a $2,000 prize to themselves.
Please note that if anyone receives the $1,000 or $2,000 prize, that person will need to complete a W-2G form in order for a 1099 form to be issued at the end of the year for tax purposes.
